TKA Members participate in TKA sanctioned tournaments and accumulate points toward rankings and awards given at our Annual Awards Banquet. Some tournaments may offer double points. Members with the highest number of points in their division, Kata or Kumite, at the end of the TKA season, will be ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Champions.

1st Place – 10pts 1st Place – 20pts
2nd Place – 7pts 2nd Place – 14pts
3rd Place – 5pts 3rd Place – 10pts
4th Place – 3pts 4th Place – 6pts
If a member changes from Novice to Advance or to a higher age group anytime during the year, points will be totaled at the end of the year and the awards will be presented in the age or rank with the most points won.
Points are posted after each tournament. Announcements will be posted on our Website, Facebook, and Twitter pages once points have been updated. Members may view and search by name, division, or member ID# to view points earned in each tournament. Members should always review their standings after each update from the prior tournament and notify TKA of any discrepancies – immediately.
